Sarah Eliot is a senior at Ipswich High School and a friend of Talia Duff. She was part of the viral video that helped raise $1 million for a CureCMT4J in December 2017.  That video and a road race in VT Sarah ran with her family served as the inspiration for Chase the Butterfly for CureCMT4J. Due to the pandemic Sarah organized a separate fundraiser in 2022 called Move the Flutter.

Founded in June 2016, the mission of CureCMT4J is to generate awareness and support for the expedited therapeutic development of treatment or cure for Charcot Marie Tooth Disease, Type 4J (CMT4J).  They are an all-volunteer non-profit organization created and run by parents to Talia Duff, an 18-year-old girl with CMT4J.
